In the mind of a seven year old, sucess can be many things. Achieving a Bravo at school, building something cool out of Lego, making a giant snowball, producing a really large burp....
In my seven year old's mind, success is earning your yellow belt in Aikido!
He has worked really hard for this, and it has been great seeing his enthusiam for it. It has been a long couple years trying to find something he wanted to do. Beavers and Judo were short-lived. A lot of no's to a lot of other choices. But this he likes! When he gets out of the car, he runs into the building, eager to get going. He helps carry the mats and interacts with the other kids. It has only been a few months but I hope he continues to work and enjoy this. The smile on his face as he low-fived everyone, to celebrate his success, has absolutely been worth the wait!

Way to go Logan, you must be very proud of your accomplishment! It's nice that he has found an activity all his own.
