Despite being a "snow" day, the weather became more beautiful as the day progressed, and the sun came out in full force. We decided to drive to one of our favorite towns for the afternoon and check out the sights.Our first stop was the playground. The kids love it there! There is a huge ship/playstructure that the kids enjoy whenever we go. Several feet of snow did not deter them, they just plowed through it :)
Our next stop was Fort Anne. For anyone who has visited the fort, you know about all the hills. Apparently it is THE sledding spot for locals. We didn't bring our sleds with us, poor planning on my part, but that did not keep Cailyn or Logan for joining in on the action!
Logan did it with his usual sense of style, lol!
No harm done though and we all had a good laugh.
It is so strange to think that this could be the last winter we spend in NS for a few years, if Darryl gets that possible posting message his career manager told him about. Oh well, just gotta enjoy it while we can than!

It was such a nice day and I knew you wouldn't waste it. Love all the pictures of the kids, especially Logan in the snow, teehee. It's great when we get to spend time with our kids, love snow days!!!
I think Logan in the snow was the best part of the day!
