This year we were lucky to be able to celebrate with some really awesome people! The Arnt's are just one of the great families we've been lucky enough to meet since moving out here. Jessica and Cailyn go to school together and have been friends since the first day Cailyn started there. They are wonderful people and we enjoy getting together with them, although busy schedules make that difficult most times. So we were definitely looking forward to it :)
The kids played all evening, upstairs and down. The adults played a lively game called "Battle of the Sexes". It amazed me at just how in touch with their feminine side the men were, lol. Of course, we all ate way too much good food but it kept us going. Before we knew it, there were only a couple minutes left until midnight and the start of a new year.
It was a fun night and we had a lot of laughs. It is just one way to remind us how blessed we are :)
