Everything seems to be big in Alberta, including their eggs, lol. So for our last day of Easter holidays, we decided to drive to Vegreville to see one. Vegreville is known for its giant Pysanka, a painted Ukrainian egg. It was a beautiful day so we really enjoyed the drive there.
Needless to say, we were not disappointed! The egg was huge and the kids loved standing under it and pretending to lift it onto their shoulders. It is in the center of a beautiful park. There are picnic tables and firepits, an old train and a brand new playground. And a really cool tree that was just perfect for climbing. The only bad thing about the day was the egg that Logan decided to come home with, the one he got on his head when he was playing on the playground.....

Cool, I didn't know about the Giant Egg! Very fitting to see it at Easter.
I hope Logan's head is better.
