Yesterday the sun was shining, it was a beautiful day. We decided to drive to Meadow Lakes Provincial Park in Saskatchewan. That sounds like it is a long trip, but it is actually only about 45 minutes from here. Maybe a bit longer....It is a beautiful park but there are no clear directions of where you are going. I was hoping they would have maps at the kiosk but they didn't, at least not yet. We found a nice lake and the kids enjoyed playing on the playground. They hadn't been feeling well the day before so they really needed the sunshine and fresh air!
While on this little adventure, we also found deer....lots of them!!! Most of them weren't close enough to get good pictures of, but we still spotted them. We saw at least 20! We saw things off in the distance that may have been deer as well, but we definitely saw at least 20. They were everywhere! We also saw some more Canada geese on the way back. There is still snow on the ground in areas, but we saw an awful lot of yellow grass too. Nice to get some color back in the picture, lol ;P

It's sounds funny when you say, we drove to Saskatchewan. We have been seeing lots of deer on our drives as well. It sounds like spring has finally sprung for you. Enjoy the kids Spring Break.
